Laser Tag FAQs
What is an event like?
We will arrive at your location 30 - 45 minutes before the event is scheduled to start. The hours you book the event for are the hours we run Laser Tag. You do not pay for our set up and tear down.
If you'd like, you can divide the group into two teams in advance of our arrival. Laser Sporting of Georgia provides all equipment and staff for laser tag games.
We will instruct the players on all safety instructions and then on how to operate the laser guns. Games vary in run time based on the difficulty of each game. We, generally, start out with simple games and increase difficulty as the participants skills increase.
Does it hurt?
No, our laser tag guns use harmless infrared technology; similar to your televisions remote control.
Is laser tag dangerous?
Laser tag is generally safe but like any active sport there is a potential for injury. Players run around creating the excitement of the game, but also creating the possibility of accidents. Bumps, bruises, skinned knees and elbows are commonplace. Insects and poisonous vegetation are unavoidable in the playing area. The Operators primary job is safety and to minimize hazards to players.
How far do the guns shoot?
We only use American made and manufactured Steradian Eclipse Series guns that have a range of 650 feet in full sunlight.
What happens when I am hit by a laser beam?
The sensors on your gun will light up and your gun will emit a sound. Your gun will then be temporarily disabled for 3 seconds, you will not be able to shoot or be shot during that 3 second delay, use this time to take cover!
How long are the games?
Most games last about 10-12 minutes depending on the number of "lives" each player starts with.
What types of games do you play?
We play many different games including; VIP Escort, Capture the Flag, Base Defense. As well, we are pretty good at coming up with missions that meet your particular needs.
What type of property do I need to host an event?
We have done events all over Georgia at peoples homes, churches, camps, farms, indoor soccer centers, etc. We have mobile bunkers that we can bring that can make a small area feel much larger and denser. We can also put restrictors in the guns and play indoors if the facility is big enough.
Can anyone play?
Because of the complexity of the guns and games we limit the minimum age limit to 8 years old.
What kind of clothing should I wear?
This depends a lot on the location. Please wear comfortable close and shoes and expect that you may get dirty avoiding the other opponents.
How long does an event last?
Our typical package is for 2 hours of laser tag. Additional hours must be arranged in advance.
Is Outdoor Laser Tag appropriate for my daughter?
Yes. We have done many events for girls/ladies and they love to shoot the boys!
Can you play at night?
Yes, it is as much fun, or more, than the day time games. We do require that there is some sort of lighting in the play area for players safety.
